President Message

The APOP was born during the Lahore Ophthalmo 2014. Since then, APOP has been able to organize meetings, live surgical workshops and hands on instruction courses to update the young and budding pediatric ophthalmologists and keep them abreast with the new innovations in the field of Pediatric Ophthalmology.

It is so encouraging that the number of Pediatric Ophthalmologists is increasing and by now we have grown to a sizable family having a good strength.

As we forge ahead, we are looking forwards to welcome new active members to our family in future. With continued dedication and hard work we will try to preserve and restore vision to our patients through high quality eye care.

Our 5th Pediatric Ophthalmology conference is going to be held in conjunction with the Khyber Eycon on 10-12 Feb 2023. I hope with your contribution and interest, we will have an exciting blend of learning, sharing and state of the art scientific program.

General Secretary Message

TIt is a matter of great honour and privilage for me to write a few sentences as we celebrate launching of APOP website. Pediatric ophthalmologists of Pakistan now have a space on internet where they can show their presence, advertise upcoming academic events and provide photos of their past events. It will not only bring the APOP members closer but also bring the association in limelight in the international scenario. Let us join hands for the welfare and treatment of our ailing future generations. I am extremely thankful to Mr. Aijaz Asif incharge of Kobec Parmaceuticals Pakistan for his kind support.
